GENERAL SURGEON
I provide breast cancer diagnosis and treatment based on the principles of the Breast Cancer Unit.
I am currently working in the Department of Oncological Surgery at the 7th Naval Hospital in Gdansk, where I perform surgical procedures under the NFZ DILO
Decisions on oncological treatment of breast cancer are made as a team at a consilium meeting that includes specialists in clinical oncology, radiation oncology and surgical oncology. Each case is considered individually based on the results of the study.
I began my career after graduating from medical school at the University Clinical Center in Gdansk, where I worked in the Department of Plastic and Oncological Surgery for a total of eleven years.
I worked for eight years at the Regional Oncology Center in Gdansk, where I performed breast oncoplasty procedures.

I gained experience and qualification in breast surgery at the Medical University of Gdansk - now the University Clinical Center in Gdansk, where I worked for a total of 11 years at the Department of Oncological Surgery and Plastic Surgery, gaining successive stages of specialization in general surgery and then oncological surgery.

Since 2015. I am an independent oncologic surgeon performing a full range of oncoplasty and breast plastic surgery procedures.
During my long professional career, I have attended numerous training and scientific conferences and courses to improve my surgical techniques.
From 2007 to 2010, as a coordinator, I implemented a pilot of a population-based early detection program for breast cancer in the Pomeranian region for the Ministry of Health.
As part of the popularization of the program, I have performed countless promotional acts for various communities in the Pomeranian Voivodeship.
I worked for many years in the Population-based Breast Cancer Early Detection Program, which, on behalf of the Ministry of Health, continues to promote the performance of preventive examinations, including mammography. The purpose of preventive screening is to diagnose breast cancer quickly.
The program applies to women aged 45-74 who can have diagnostic tests-mammography-without a referral. The prophylactic program allows patients, based on their pesel number, to have a mammogram once every two years - in those without a burden, and once a year - in patients with a genetic burden in the family. Tests can be performed at one of the many mammography laboratories in the Pomeranian region.
